Job summary

Helix Electric, founded in 1985, is a leading electrical contracting company in the U.S. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Learning & Development to champion enterprise-wide training initiatives, set strategy and upskill employees to enhance performance and business outcomes.

You will partner with executives, design programs, and oversee internal and external resources to ensure high-quality delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of learning and/or leadership development experience including developing, implementing and delivering training
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Education, Business or related field
• Ability to partner with executive leaders to translate business priorities into people development initiatives
• Experience leading large-scale or enterprise learning/leadership development programs and initiatives
• Experience managing projects, priorities, resources and budgets across multiple workstreams
• Experience leading, coaching or supervising team members, project teams or cross-functional contributors
• Proficient with MS Office; tech-savvy; ability to learn new systems quickly
• Construction industry experience or related field preferred
• Experience with course authoring tools (Articulate 360 Rise & Storyline, Camtasia) preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of learning strategy, priorities and solutions aligned to business needs
• Design and develop learning and leadership programs, curriculum and materials with SMEs/external vendors
• Collaborate with L&OD to leverage resources, technologies and LMS capabilities
• Monitor training activities, manage content and recommend improvements
• Measure effectiveness of programs and use insights to improve impact and learner experience
• Partner with Head of L&OD and leaders on assessment, development and succession planning
• Lead key learning programs including planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource coordination
• Manage internal and external resources for training delivery
• Support ad hoc projects and organizational initiatives as needed
• Travel to regional offices/sites ~30%
