Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to provide enterprise leadership for project controls across a large portfolio. You will advance governance, platforms, and analytics to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

You will lead teams across cost, schedule, and commercial controls, driving modernization and AI-enabled forecasting while partnering with delivery and digital teams to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project controls for large, complex portfolios.
• Connect design and construction through integrated cost, schedule, risk and commercial controls.
• Proven success in dashboards, analytics, and AI-enabled reporting.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, and governance.
• Set up controls for design-build and other delivery models across regions.
• Strengthen budgeting, earned value, forecasting, and schedule analysis.
• Develop dashboards and actionable insights for margin and cash flow.
• Lead modernization of platforms, data, and workflows with AI-enabled forecasting.
• Establish document controls and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes.
• Lead and develop a distributed team of schedulers and cost controllers.
