Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise project controls for a large portfolio of design-build projects across municipal, industrial, and federal clients. This role drives governance, platforms modernization, dashboards, and predictive insights to deliver projects safely, profitably, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with integrated delivery and digital transformation, plus strong leadership across a dispersed team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
15 or more years of related experience.
PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, and governance; drive adoption across regions.
Establish controls for design-build, CMAR, and other delivery models; align design, cost, schedule, and risk.
Strengthen budgeting, earned value, forecasting, ICS, and change management.
Develop leading indicators, dashboards, and insights for margin, cash flow, and delivery risk.
Lead modernization of project controls platforms, data, and workflows; promote AI-enabled forecasting.
Set standards for document management, data quality, and digital delivery.
Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes.
Lead and develop schedulers, cost controllers, and document control professionals.
