Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead the enterprise project controls function for a large portfolio of municipal, industrial, and federal projects. This role drives governance, platforms, analytics, and talent across the organization to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in integrated design-build, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled forecasting, with a focus on modernization of workflows and enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of related experience.
• PMP or PgM certification required.
• Experience with integrated design-build and alternative delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, and governance.
• Establish design-build and other integrated delivery models across regions.
• Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and change management.
• Develop dashboards and actionable insights for margin, cash flow, and delivery risk.
• Lead modernization of project controls platforms and automated reporting.
• Build and mentor a distributed team of schedulers and cost controllers.
