Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise governance, standards, and analytics across a large portfolio of projects. You will advance digital transformation, improve forecasting, and integrate cost, schedule, risk, and commercial controls from planning through closeout.

The role requires deep leadership in project controls for complex design-build programs, experience with CMAR or similar delivery models, and a focus on collaboration with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• PMP or PgM certification required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, and governance.
• Establish controls for design-build, CMAR, and other delivery models.
• Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, EVM, and change management.
• Develop dashboards and insights for margin, backlog, cash flow and risk.
• Lead modernization of platforms, workflows, and AI-enabled forecasting.
• Set scalable document controls, data quality, and traceability standards.
• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes.
• Develop talent and build a high-performing project controls team.
