Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead the enterprise project controls function for a large, integrated portfolio across municipal, industrial, and federal clients. You will drive governance, platforms, and analytics to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

The role requires deep experience with integrated design-build, strong budgeting and scheduling capabilities, and a track record of leading large teams through digital transformation and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance model.
• Establish project controls for design-build and other delivery models across regions.
• Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, variance analysis, and change management.
• Develop dashboards and actionable insights for margin, cash flow, and risk.
• Lead modernization of platforms and workflows with AI-enabled forecasting and analytics.
• Build and mentor a distributed team of schedulers, cost controllers, and document control professionals.
