Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a senior professional to grow the Engineered Valve product grouping within the WTP & WWTP market. You will analyze opportunities with our sales teams, develop leads, visit prospects, and assist technical staff with proposals while leading negotiations with new customers.

This role coordinates pre-bid strategies across regions with Sales Managers, ensuring best-in-class proposals and alignment with valve brands and reps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in waterworks industry.
• 7+ years experience managing estimating managers.
• 5+ years experience overseeing multiple states and estimating/pre-bid teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops training support for Pre-Bid and Estimating teams on treatment plant projects.
• Meets with regional sales and leadership to implement improvements and best practices.
• Determine market opportunities for new products and proper alignment across the territories with the different brands of valves and reps.
• Develops market strategies and sales goals for vendor partners within the different pockets of our market.
• Provide direction and guidance for new product line viability. Ensure timely introduction and maturation of product offerings.
• Partner and assist in the development of pricing strategies for each new product line add.
• Provide project management support or oversight where necessary
