Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a leader to grow the Engineered Valve product grouping within the WTP & WWTP market segment.

You will work with our sales teams and clients to identify opportunities, develop leads, and assist in proposals, supporting technical staff with pre-proposal activities to win new business. Responsible for pre-bid strategies across multiple regions alongside Sales Managers, ensuring best-in-class material scope proposals and coordinating with account and sales

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in waterworks industry.
• 7+ years directing estimating managers.
• 5+ years overseeing multiple states and estimating/pre-bid teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops training support around the product group for Pre-Bid and Estimating teams.
• Meets with regional sales leadership to implement improvements.
• Identify market opportunities and align with brands and reps.
• Develops market strategies and sales goals for vendor partners.
• Guides new product line viability and timely introductions.
• Assist in pricing strategies for new product lines.
• Provide project management support where needed.
