Job summary

Qcells North America is seeking a driven energy sales professional to accelerate customer acquisition in Edge and Metro Data Centers. You will own prospecting, qualification, and conversion of operators into energy off-takers for ESS-based Power Services and Hanwha Group solutions.

The role requires building a qualified pipeline, engaging with technical and procurement stakeholders, and delivering compelling energy proposals in collaboration with engineering and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Energy, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in energy solution sales, with a focus on Data Center or mission-critical facilities.
• Demonstrated track record selling complex energy systems: BESS, UPS, GT/CHP, microgrid, or hybrid power.
• Existing relationships with Edge/Metro Data Center operators strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of ESA/PPA structures, project finance basics, and EPC terms.
• Ability to conduct energy demand analysis and translate outputs into customer-facing value narratives.
• Strong written and verbal communication; executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Off-Taker Prospecting & Pipeline Development
• Identify, qualify, and engage Edge/Metro Data Center operators as energy off-takers
• Build and manage a project pipeline covering ESS-based power services and Gas Turbine + ESS
• Develop account plans and maintain CRM hygiene with opportunity tracking and forecast inputs
• Represent ESS-based Power Service offerings to Data Center customers
• Educate customers on hybrid power system architecture and total cost of ownership
• Coordinate with Hanwha Group counterparts for proposal alignment
• Lead proposal development, RFP responses, and template materials
• Provide market intelligence and pipeline updates to leadership
