SCAN Health Plan is hiring a Manager, Digital Acceleration in Long Beach, CA, with a mostly remote work mode. The role leads end-to-end, agile service design projects across business, product and IT, translating needs into actionable strategies and features.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Experience or Service Design, health plan experience, and strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The position anchors on our mission to improve care for older adults.

• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end, agile service design projects including research planning and execution, experience and service design, and phase 1 implementation.
• Design and evolve member experiences through research, analytics, and journey-based thinking.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops with business, product, and IT teams to define end-to-end opportunities and vision.
• Use insights from member data and journey mapping to align on priorities and design direction.
• Design deliverables range from service blueprints, storyboards, journey maps, and feature development.
• Serve as operational owner for key programs translating vision and strategy into deliverable features.
• Build executive-level engagement and communication to support design making and stakeholder alignment.
• Engage with stakeholders across SCAN (Marketing, Pharmacy, Product, Member Services, IT).
• Represent both business and technical perspectives and communicate rationale through storytelling.
• Champion SCAN’s mission and maintain strong relationships; encourage open dialogue and continuous learning.
• You will act as Rebels curious about AI and its power to transform operations.
