Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking a hands-on Sr Manager, Corporate Accounting to own payroll, benefits, LT incentive, and bonus accruals, while leading a team of two accountants through monthly and quarterly close.

You will collaborate with Finance, HR, FP&A, Legal, Procurement and Finance Systems to ensure accurate reporting and strong controls. The role emphasizes technical accounting depth, automation with Oracle Financials, and validation of AI outputs within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Experience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets.
• Experience using automation and AI tools to improve accounting efficiency.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee accounting and close activities for payroll, benefits, LT incentive, and restructuring accounting.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for non-personnel accounting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses per U.S. GAAP and SOX.
