Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking a hands-on Sr Manager, Corporate Accounting to own payroll, benefits, long term incentive accounting and bonus accruals, leading a small team through monthly and quarterly closes at a global company.

In this role you will partner with Finance, HR, FP&A, Legal and Procurement, drive automation and AI-enabled processes in Oracle Financials, and ensure SOX compliance and strong internal controls while delivering accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a large public company or global organization.
CPA preferred; strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX.
Experience with Oracle Financials or a comparable ERP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee accounting and close activities for payroll, benefits, long term incentive and restructuring accounting.
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for non personnel accounting.
Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
Maintain and strengthen SOX controls, including documentation and walkthroughs.
Partner with Finance, HR, FP&A, Legal, Procurement, and Finance Systems on personnel cost questions.
Serve as primary contact for internal and external auditors; drive automation and AI adoption with Oracle Financials and tools like Gemini/Claude.
