Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. in seeks a hands-on Sr Manager, Corporate Accounting to own personnel accounting—Payroll, Benefits, LTIP, and Bonus accruals—and lead a small team through monthly and quarterly closes.

You will partner with Finance, HR, FP&A, Legal, and Procurement, leveraging Oracle Financials, automation, and AI to strengthen controls. You'll manage end-to-end accounting for payroll and non-personnel closings while driving process improvements and ensuring SOX compliance in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required or preferred.
CPA is preferred and U.S. GAAP knowledge is essential.
Experience with Oracle Financials and strong data handling skills.

Responsibilities

Manage accounting and close activities for payroll, benefits, LTIP and restructuring.
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for non-personnel accounting.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and variance analyses.
Maintain SOX controls documentation, evidence, and walkthroughs.
Collaborate with Finance, HR, FP&A, Legal, Procurement, and IT systems.
Serve as primary contact for internal and external auditors.
Drive automation and AI adoption to reduce manual work.
Document and improve accounting policies and workflows.
Support controllership initiatives and special projects.
