Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking a hands-on Sr Manager, Corporate Accounting to own personnel accounting including payroll, benefits, LTIP, and bonus accruals, while guiding a small team through monthly and quarterly closes.

You'll collaborate with Finance, HR, and FP&A to optimize processes, strengthen internal controls, and implement automation and AI tools in Oracle Financials to reduce manual work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and corporate accounting operations.
• Experience with Oracle Financials or a comparable ERP; Oracle preferred.
• Advanced Excel and ability to work with large data sets.
• Demonstrated experience using automation and AI tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and close activities for payroll, benefits, LTIP, restructuring, and related costs.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for non-personnel accounting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses under US GAAP and SOX.
• Maintain SOX controls, documentation, and walkthroughs.
• Partner with Finance, HR, FP&A, Legal, Procurement on personnel cost questions and Oracle issues.
• Serve as primary contact for internal/external auditors.
• Drive automation and AI adoption using Oracle Financials, Gemini, and Claude; validate outputs.
