Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale.
• 2+ years of experience managing a software team.
• Experience with AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in financial systems, ledgering, treasury, or related domains.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy for your team on a year-long time scale.
• Collaborate across product management, design, and analytics to ensure technical sustainability, risks and trade-offs are understood.
• Act as a force-multiplier for your team through the definition and advocacy of technical solutions and processes.
• Own your team’s operations and availability with monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing and on-call readiness.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting code review and design standards and propagating them beyond your team.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance, and leading by example.
