Job summary

Affin is seeking a senior engineering leader to set a year-long technical strategy for a ledger/backend platform. You will collaborate with product, design and analytics to ensure sustainable systems with clear trade-offs and robust availability.

You will own operations, monitoring, playbooks, and on-call readiness while promoting a culture of quality and ownership. The role emphasizes mentoring engineers and guiding architecture across teams.

Qualifications

• You have 8+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• You have 2+ years of experience managing a software team.
• You have experience with AWS, MySQL, Spark and Kubernetes, and financial systems context is a plus.
