Affi is a remote-first company hiring a senior backend engineering leader to set technical strategy for a year-long horizon and align with product, design and analytics.

You will own operations, drive reliability, review code, mentor engineers, and help grow talent while delivering scalable, audited financial ledger systems in a regulated environment.

The role requires 8+ years in backend design, 2+ years leading teams, and experience with AWS, MySQL, Spark and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in backend design, development and launch at scale.
• 2+ years of experience managing a software team.
• Experience with AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
• Background in financial systems, ledgering, or treasury domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for global collaboration.
