Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior administrator supervisor in Chicago to lead a team providing accounting, administration and investor servicing to investment clients. You will assess changes in business strategies, provide expertise and drive process improvements to support client needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 5+ years in alternative investments, and strong communication and leadership skills. CPA/CFA preferred; knowledge of Investran, Cascade and Advent is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience
• Five or more years of experience in alternative investments industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven team-oriented, leadership and organizational skills
• CPA or CFA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of administrators who are responsible for providing accounting, administration and investor servicing to investment companies and advisers.
• Acts as escalation point for all clients and directs issue resolution and process changes to support client needs.
• Proactively identifies risk-related issues through review of qualitative and quantitative data and implements mitigating solutions.
• Reviews accounting and financial statement information for audit and tax reviews and set-ups of accounting principles for unusual investment types.
