Job summary

U.S. Bank in New Jersey seeks a senior accounting professional to supervise a team providing accounting, administration and investor servicing to investment clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, assess changing strategies, and guide issue resolution and process improvements.

Required: bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years in alternative investments, and strong communication. CPA/CFA preferred; on-site with location 3+ days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in the alternative investments industry.
• CPA or CFA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrators providing accounting, administration and investor servicing to investment companies and advisers.
• Acts as escalation point for clients and directs issue resolution and process changes to support client needs.
• Proactively identifies risk-related issues through data review and mitigates solutions.
• Reviews accounting and financial statement information for audit and tax reviews.
• Sets up/processing of complex expense and incentive fee calculations and reconciliations.
