Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior investment accounting lead who will supervise a team providing accounting, administration and investor servicing for investment companies and advisers.

This role requires assessing changing business needs and directing issue resolution to support client growth and risk mitigation. The position entails reviewing financial statements for audits, setting up accounting principles for unusual investments, and managing complex expense and incentive fee calculations and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of experience in the alternative investments industry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• General knowledge and understanding of portfolio accounting and the investment management industry.
• CPA or CFA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of administrators responsible for accounting, administration and investor servicing to investment companies and advisers.
• Acts as escalation point for clients and directs issue resolution and process changes to support client needs.
• Reviews accounting and financial statement information for audit and tax reviews and sets up accounting principles for unusual investment types.
• Sets up and processes complex expense and incentive fee calculations and reconciliation items.
