Axon is seeking a Senior Manager, R&D Product Enablement to lead a team delivering product knowledge, release communications, localization, and AI-powered content operations. You will own the enablement roadmap, align with senior leaders, and drive governance across product lines.

You will manage ~8 direct reports, partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, and ensure timely, accurate documentation and impactful product communications for global customers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical documentation, product content, product communications, enablement, or program management.
• 2+ years of experience as a people manager.
• Experience leading a team of 8+ direct reports across multiple product lines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Experience owning content or communications quality standards and governance processes.
• Experience using Jira and Smartsheet and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Aufgaben

• Own the Product Enablement strategic plan and annual roadmap.
• Translate operational work into narratives showing business impact (adoption, support deflection, customer satisfaction).
• Build relationships with senior leaders across Product and customer-facing pillars.
• Establish prioritization frameworks linking content investment to business needs.
• Lead the Help Site, technical documentation, and product knowledge content.
• Set quality standards, style guidelines, and SOPs for content creation and maintenance.
• Ensure content is accurate and current in partnership with Product and Engineering.
• Own Release Notes process and governance for clear internal and external communications.
• Lead localization sequencing with Localization Center of Excellence.
• Drive AI-enabled content operations and governance across teams.
• Directly manage ~8 reports; mentor and develop talent across product lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Jira tracking and stakeholder updates.
• Monitor quality metrics and adjust approaches to improve outcomes.
