Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Manager, R&D Product Enablement to own how product knowledge reaches customers. You will lead a team of about eight writers/designers, shaping content across releases, localization, and product launches at scale.

You will collaborate with Product, CS, Support, and Marketing to ensure timely, accurate information and drive adoption, support deflection, and customer satisfaction while incorporating AI to boost throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical documentation, product content, product communications, enablement, or program management
• 2+ years of experience as a people manager
• Experience leading a team of 8+ direct reports across multiple product lines
• Experience owning content governance, standards, and quality
• Experience using project/work-tracking tools (Jira, Smartsheet) and ensuring on-time delivery
• Ability to partner across teams and manage multiple workstreams
• Occasional travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Own the Product Enablement strategic plan and annual roadmap, aligned to business impact
• Lead content creation and governance for Help Site, technical docs, and product knowledge
• Own Release Notes process and governance with cross-functional stakeholders
• Lead localization sequencing and delivery with global markets and vendors
• Champion AI-enabled content operations and guardrails
• Directly manage ~8 direct reports and support career development
• Partner with Product, Engineering, CS, Support, and Marketing to align on timelines
