Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Managed Payroll Specialist based in the United States for a US-remote, client-facing role. You will own the end-to-end payroll cycle for a portfolio of complex US customers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proactive issue resolution.

You will mentor colleagues, handle escalations, and contribute to improving systems, automation, and AI-assisted workflows as the managed payroll service scales. Strong multi-state payroll knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of hands-on US managed payroll experience, multi-client/multi-state preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, with attention to withholding, garnishments, and benefits deductions.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and maintain proactive relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex payroll scenarios.
• Comfort with evolving processes and new automation/AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience in SaaS/HRIS environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll cycle for a portfolio of complex US customers.
• Conduct proactive pre-payroll reviews to identify issues.
• Serve as primary client contact with clear, proactive communication.
• Manage high-risk escalations and drive resolution with empathy.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Implementation, Support and Sales.
• Identify improvements to processes, tooling, and automation.
• Contribute to SOPs and scalable processes for compliance and auditability.
• Mentor payroll specialists and support knowledge-sharing.
