Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Malware Reverse Engineer to lead advanced analysis, deconstruct complex malware, and translate findings into actionable detections for security operations. You will guide incident response during critical events and provide technical quality control across analyses.

You will mentor other analysts, drive engineering depth in malware analysis, and communicate risk-based outcomes to leadership with precision and clarity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in malware reverse engineering or related cyber analysis roles.
• 8+ years static/dynamic malware analysis across Windows and Linux.
• 6+ years in obfuscated/packed malware and anti-analysis techniques.
• 4+ years low-level code and tooling development for malware analysis.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer complex malware to uncover behavior, infrastructure, and adversary tradecraft.
• Translate findings into high-fidelity detections for SOC use cases.
• Support incident response during critical events and provide quality review of analyses.
• Mentor senior analysts and raise engineering depth of the team.
• Deliver concise risk-based updates to leadership.
