Job summary

Accenture is seeking a highly experienced Malware Reverse Engineer to lead malware analysis and operational intelligence efforts. You will reverse engineer sophisticated samples, unpack hidden behaviors, and map attacker infrastructure to improve detections.

You will also mentor analysts and produce technically rigorous threat reports for executive audiences. The role emphasizes high-quality code-level evidence, cross-team collaboration, and rapid response during incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in malware reverse engineering or related cyber analysis roles.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on malware analysis across Windows and Linux
• Minimum 6 years with reverse engineering tools like IDA Pro and Ghidra and 3+ years with debugging tools such as x64dbg/Binary Ninja
• Minimum 5 years developing or modifying tooling in C/C++ and/or Python to support malware analysis
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years)

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer complex malware and unpack samples to uncover behavior, infrastructure, and adversary tradecraft.
• Translate findings into high-fidelity detections and support incident response.
• Provide technical quality control over analytical products before dissemination.
• Mentor senior analysts and raise engineering depth of the team.
• Deliver concise, risk-based communications to leadership when needed.
• Travel may be required up to 100% depending on client needs.
