Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Vertical Major Account Executive to blend consultative sales with strategic account management, delivering voice, data and video solutions within a defined territory. You will build relationships, craft tailored proposals, and manage end-to-end closing with medium and large businesses.

Qualifications

• Experience in a consultative sales or account management role.
• 3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas in the telecommunications B2B sector is preferred.
• Proven networking, negotiation and closing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative needs analyses with prospective clients to create customer-focused solutions
• Develop relationships with existing customers to upsell services and secure contract renewals
• Design and present sales proposals that address the complex requirements of medium and large businesses
• Self-generate leads via telephone, cold calls, networking and industry events
• Qualify new leads, coordinate site surveys and ROI analyses to sales management
• Maintain accurate sales databases to report activity and customer information
• Collaborate with the Account Management Team to ensure seamless client handoff and retention
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance sales knowledge
