Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX to ensure building systems, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for safety and appearance. You will diagnose, repair, and perform make-ready tasks and document work orders to support safe, functional, and attractive properties.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, inventory tracking, and collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by state/local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance on the property.
• Makes-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling.
• Tracks materials, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Documents and files work orders accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
