Job summary

Greystar in Austin, Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of a property meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units. The role also covers inventory handling, safety compliance, and timely documentation of service activities.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certification as required for service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs to policy, safety, and code standards.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant units, inspect before move-in, create punch lists, schedule vendors, and verify completion.
