Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a property maintenance technician to ensure buildings and grounds meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, handle make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage inventory, and document work orders.

Must have at least 2 years of maintenance experience and EPA refrigerant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant certifications; state/local licenses as required.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues in buildings, grounds, and common areas to meet standards.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety rules.
• Make-ready vacant apartments: inspection, punch list, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and return unused items to storage with proper procedures.
• Document all work performed for timely reporting and record-keeping.
• Support safety programs and participate in routine safety meetings.
