Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical upkeep of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Essential responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing defects, completing make-ready tasks for vacants, managing inventory, documenting work orders, and supporting cost-control through efficient use of materials.

Qualifications

• Performs preventive maintenance per standard policies and codes.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units and schedules contractors.
• Maintains inventory and documents work orders accurately.
• Requires EPA refrigerant certifications and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on property systems per safety standards.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing and manage punch lists.
• Access materials and track inventory with maintenance supervisor notification.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by using parts efficiently.
