Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair interior and exterior areas of our communities in Austin, TX. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and participate in make-ready tasks for vacant units to ensure market readiness.

Responsibilities include completing resident work orders, maintaining common areas, and coordinating with vendors to meet safety and quality standards while upholding Greystar policies and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools; skilled in safe tool use.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders from residents and routine maintenance tasks.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units: inspect, create punch list, schedule vendors and complete tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by others and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with policies.
