Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine maintenance and make-ready tasks at an on-site property in Maryland. You will diagnose and repair issues in buildings, grounds, and amenities while following safety standards and Greystar policies.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing vacants for leasing, inventory

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications are required.
• State and local licenses as required by jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property golf carts if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per policy and code.
• Prepares vacant units via make-ready process, conducts pre-move-out inspections, and coordinates vendors.
• Tracks materials, tools, and inventory; notifies supervisor for reorders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Periodically inspects work by contractors to verify quality and scope.

Education

EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 & II or Universal
