Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a property maintenance technician to perform skilled repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit readiness tasks at our Maryland properties. The role requires diagnosing issues, repairing systems, and maintaining both indoor and outdoor spaces to Greystar standards.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC certifications, EPA refrigerant credentials, a valid driver's license, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
Minimum 2 years experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
May hold various certifications (e.g. HVAC) and licenses.
Proactive and self-motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
Makes-ready for vacant units by inspecting, listing repairs, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
Manages materials inventory, records usage, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering.
Documents service requests and assists in maintenance of grounds, common areas, and amenities.
Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible.
Follows safety policies and participates in training; may inspect contractor work.
Performs routine property inspections and communicates needs to management.
Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
