Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and amenities meet safety and quality standards. You will perform diagnostic repairs, preventative maintenance, and make‑ready tasks for vacant units, while following policy and safety guidelines.

You will assist in managing inventory, coordinate with vendors, and participate in grounds upkeep. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings or

Qualifications

• Must hold EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Make‑ready process for vacant apartments: inspect, punch list, schedule vendors, complete tasks.
• Access and obtain materials from maintenance dept; track usage and reorder needs.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
