Greystar in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical condition of the property, perform repairs, and coordinate with vendors. Responsibilities include completing work orders from residents, prepping vacants, maintaining grounds, and ensuring safety standards; requires 1-2 years of maintenance experience and EPA refrigerant certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
• Prior exp with HVAC, electrical, vendor management, customer service.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacants for leasing and performs pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks materials and coordinates with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Documents work orders and closes tasks with accurate records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning and cosmetic upkeep as needed.
• Supports cost-saving measures by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
