Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical condition of our communities and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of service requests.

The role requires a strong maintenance background (7+ years preferred, or 4+ years with EPA 608 Universal) and relevant certifications. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 Universal certification required (if applicable).
• Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance repair, or Carpentry preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose problems and train others.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple assets and supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
• Support on-call scheduling to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.
