Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain the property's physical condition and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and handle service requests promptly in a dynamic community environment.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong customer-service skills. Relevant certifications (EPA 608, boiler, plumbing, electrical) should be obtained within 9–12 months,

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certifications relevant to the region (e.g., EPA 608, Boiler Certification, Plumbing, Electrical) obtained within 9–12 months.
• Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
• Direct and coordinate with subcontractors on assigned projects.
• Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Deliver high levels of resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
• Rotate on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
