Balfour Beatty Communities seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain the community's physical condition and deliver world-class service to residents. You diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete service requests promptly, contributing to a safe, well-maintained living environment.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of maintenance experience, and relevant certifications (EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) within 9 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED graduate level.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler Certification, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) obtained within 9 months of employment or promotion.
• Required training completed within one year of hire/promotion date.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, positive, and professional interactions.
• Work a rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
