Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the community’s physical condition and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of service requests.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 4–6 years of maintenance experience, strong customer service, and skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Expertise in at least one of electrical, plumbing, HVAC or carpentry.
• Strong problem solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical or appliance repair certifications within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly.
• Coordinate with contractors and manage parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Participate in rotating on-call maintenance coverage.
