Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the physical condition of our community and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and handle resident service requests in a timely manner.

The Maintenance Technician career path includes levels from Trainee to Technician I-III, with training plans to help you advance. Primary responsibilities involve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems; safety and compliance are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform repairs to company standards within time limits.
• EPA 608/boiler/plumbing/electrical/appliance repair certifications obtained within 9 months (region-dependent).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
• Ensure the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.
• Working a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 maintenance coverage.
