Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical condition of our community and provide world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely completion of service requests.

The role requires strong customer service, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work a rotating on-call schedule in a residential environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EPA 608 Universal certification or 4 years’ HVAC/plumbing/electrical/carpentry experience
• Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and supervise contractors where needed
• Experience with safety policies and on-call maintenance rotations

Responsibilities

• Oversee assets and supervise maintenance staff and contractors on projects
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies
• Deliver resident satisfaction through professional, timely service
• Maintain 24/7 maintenance coverage through rotating on-call schedule
