Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community in excellent condition and to deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and handle service requests promptly to maintain safety and comfort across properties.

As part of the Maintenance Job Family, you will have opportunities to advance from Trainee to Technician levels with training plans and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED graduate level.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic trouble shooting skills.
• Basic understanding in electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
• Work a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 maintenance coverage.
