Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the community’s physical condition and deliver exceptional resident service. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and respond to service requests promptly.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general trades, with a focus on safety and quality. On-call rotations ensure 24/7 coverage for residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EPA 608 Universal certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry or appliance repair certifications.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee one or more assets and supervise maintenance staff and contractors, managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
• Maintain 24/7 maintenance coverage through rotating on-call schedule.
