Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the overall physical condition of our communities and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of service requests across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.

The role supports a rotating on-call schedule and a culture of safety, accountability, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing or carpentry required; ability to perform repairs to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general upkeep and orderliness of properties, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems; perform inspections and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
• Maintain equipment and respond to resident service requests and maintenance needs in a timely manner.
