Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 2 to perform multi-faceted maintenance across vacant and occupied units. You will handle painting, drywall, electrical/plumbing repairs, HVAC tasks, and flooring work while ensuring timely, high-quality service to residents.

You will also manage preventative maintenance, assist with property improvements, and participate in on-call rotations. Must have transportation and a customer-service mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years maintenance experience required.
• 3–5 years painting and drywall repairs required.
• High mechanical aptitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy including painting and drywall repairs.
• Independently perform system repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hot water heaters and appliances.
• Carry out carpentry, drywall repairs and interior/exterior painting tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and run daily service requests for residents.
• Clean pools, monitor chemical balance and logs as required by city ordinances.
• Daily grounds maintenance and seasonal snow removal where applicable.
• Participate in property improvements and on-call rotation.
