Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 1 to prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and provide timely, quality service for residents and the community. The role involves painting, drywall repairs, and various maintenance tasks across vacant and occupied units, with emphasis on reliability, safety, and customer service.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years painting and drywall repairs preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and climb ladders, multiple flights of stairs.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Aufgaben

• Prepare all vacant apartments for occupancy, including painting, drywall repair, trash out, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Perform basic system repairs on electrical, plumbing, hot water heaters, HVAC systems, appliances, etc.
• Perform detailed work with carpentry, drywall repairs and interior/exterior painting.
• Assess when full-paint or touch-up paint is needed and select correct sheen and color.
• Repair flooring including plank, vinyl and carpet.
