Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 2 to maintain and improve our communities in Frisco, TX. You will service vacant and occupied units, handling tasks from painting and drywall to complex appliance and system repairs.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to work outdoors and lift heavy loads. You will collaborate with residents, staff, and vendors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years maintenance experience required.
• 3–5 years painting and drywall repairs required.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy (painting, drywall, trash out, mechanical, plumbing, electrical repairs).
• Independently perform system repairs on electrical, plumbing, hot water heaters, HVAC systems, appliances, etc.
