Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners in McDonough, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to handle complex work orders, mentor junior techs, and lead preventative maintenance efforts. Candidates must have HVAC certification and experience in electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and team leadership.

Education includes high school/GED; at least 3 years in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade. Valid driver’s license and CPO/HVAC certifications are required; EPA/HVAC is also listed.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in apartment maintenance or skilled trade (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical).
Experience leading or supervising preferred.
Valid Driver's License; EPA/HVAC Certification; CPO Certification required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status for next move-in.
Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
Complete preventative maintenance according to company policy.
Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the maintenance team.
