Job summary
Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to diagnose complex issues, mentor junior techs, and drive preventative maintenance across apartment communities. The role requires HVAC certification and experience in electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair, plus a background in team leadership.
Responsibilities include maintaining building systems, repairing units to move-in readiness, and supporting pool and grounds upkeep.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of apartment maintenance or skilled-trade experience.
- EPA/HVAC, CPO and valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs promptly and professionally.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians and support preventative maintenance.
- Repair and restore vacant apartments to ready-for-move-in condition.
- Assist with pool maintenance and general grounds upkeep.
- Provide leadership to the maintenance team and participate in on-call rotations.
- Adhere to safety guidelines per OSHA and company policy.
