Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners seeks a Maintenance Technician III to tackle complex work orders, mentor junior techs, and drive preventative maintenance across our apartment communities. Your HVAC certification and experience in electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair will help maintain high standards of safety and resident comfort.

You will lead by example, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to a supportive team focused on reliability, cleanliness, and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• HVAC certification required; EPA and CPO certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs to Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the maintenance team.
